Mandalay Bay in August

Drew's band played a show at the House of Blues restaurant in Mandalay Bay, so what did we do? Make the trek down, separate from the band and booked a room AT the Mandalay Bay. It was quite the treat. We did a little shopping, sleeping in, going to their "beach" which was a wave pool (that only produced two waves every 3 minutes) with thousands of other americans & euros. It was really nice to be in the sun & water...you don't get much of that here in Utah because pools aren't readily available and lakes are dark & near freezing.

And maybe I did watched two episodes of F-R-I-E-N-D-S while Drew was doing sound check and I showered and got ready for the show.
